最新消息Working Caregiver Support Services在職照顧者支援服務
Hong Kong Association for AD/HD is a self-help organization founded in 2006 by a group of local parents raising children with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). We later registered as a non-profit charity in 2013 and became an institutional member of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in 2017. Today, we are serving around 2,000 member families with AD/HD children.
We have been providing services to carers of children with AD/HD with a helpline, counselling and peer support. We also organize parent talks, support groups, workshops, training programs and parent-child activities. At the same time, we are committed to community education to raise public awareness and understanding of AD/HD. We have also been advocating for social rights and resources for families with AD/HD children and promoting professional study on AD/HD.
With a dedicated professional team, we provide professional training for helping professionals and practitioners serving children and adolescents with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
In recent years, we have been delivering professional sharing sessions for organizations and corporations on the topics related to Mental Health, Neurodiversity, SEN and AD/HD, and provide support services for working SEN caregivers.
